Arab Digital Portal, the billboard of AlArabia Outdoor Advertising placed on King Fahad Road, Riyadh, implemented and designed by AlArabia factories in participation with Anfield, Inc., won the international award for being the best digital billboard in 2019 as part of DAILY DOOH’s Awards Gala held in London this week.

The award is one of the most prestigious and important awards recognized by international major companies and markets in the industry of digital billboards and an annual event for those who work in such industry. The winning of the award by a Saudi company is the first of its kind in the Middle East.

King Abdulaziz Camel Festival is an annual cultural, economic, sports, and entertainment festival organized by the Camel Club in the Kingdom under the patronage of the monarch. AlArabia, MBC, United MediaServices Sign Memorandums of Understanding

Memorandums of understanding were signed this Sunday noon time in Cairo between the United Media Services (UMS) Company on the one hand and AlArabia Outdoor Advertising (“AlArabia”) and the MBC Group (“MBC”) on the other hand.

The conference, which was held in one of the major hotels in Cairo, witnessed the execution of two memorandums of understanding. AlArabia and UMS signed the first MOU on the development of outdoor advertisement in Egypt, utilizing top notch technology in this industry.

The second MoU signed between MBC and UMS provides for the cooperation between the two entities in three areas the first of which is doubling the joint efforts to face hacking and the provision of the technological resources required to combat this negative phenomenon.

The cooperation in the second area aims at producing major dramas, while MBC in the third field will obtain the rights to utilize and distribute UMS productions outside Egypt. The execution of MOUs was attended by Mohamed AlKhereiji, AlArabia Outdoor Advertising CEO, Sam Burnett, MBC CEO, and Hassan Abdullah, UMS Board Chaiman as well as directors of company board.


AlArabia Enters into Partnership with Misk Art Institute‎

The Arabian Contracting Services (“AlArabia”), the platinum partner, launched “The World Sees Through Your Eyes” initiative during its participation in the Generational Dialogue Exhibition, held by Misk Art Institute at Durrat Al Riyadh during the period from October 30th to November 3rd, 2018.

Supporting national young talents is not the first of its kind by AlArabia. In 2014, the company in cooperation with the Saudi Arabian Society for Culture and Arts (SASCA), organized the largest art exhibition in the Middle East at that time – the first exhibition of the Arab Arts Initiative. 80 artworks of those presented by Saudis were displayed on more than 3,600 out-of-home billboards throughout the Kingdom.

AlArabia Launches “Manhood Is a Responsibility” Campaign to Raise Awareness on Prostate Cancer

AlKhereiji: “We strive to provide community service campaigns in a creative way to reach the largest possible segments of the population.”

AlArabia, in cooperation with the Ministry of Health, launched an awareness campaign on prostate cancer, titled “Manhood is a Responsibility.” AlArabia has promoted the campaign in various streets in Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam, TV channels, and social media platforms.

“We launched the campaign to activate AlArabia’s social responsibility programs, and to complement the efforts of its team of creative Saudi youth who introduce the concept of launching community campaigns in an untraditional style to reach the largest possible segments of the population. Our campaign aimed at raising the awareness on prostate cancer, the most common type of tumor affecting men. Studies have shown that one in six men suffers from prostate cancer, and that people who have this type of cancer do not develop symptoms until after the age of 50, where their conditions worsen, leading to their death”. Mohamed bin Abdulelah AlKhereiji, CEO of AlArabia said.

He added that “Through this awareness campaign, we aim to encourage people to consult a doctor once any of the symptoms is observed, conduct early examination, and further the interaction and interest of the community in this disease by producing a campaign teaser advertisement that is surprising to community population segments and questioning them on what manhood means for them. AlKhereiji confirmed that manhood is a responsibility, and that health is the top priority of responsibilities. AlArabia has also published a prostate cancer slogan that is similar to the breast cancer awareness slogan” in order for prostate cancer to be remembered as like as the breast cancer.

It is worth mentioning that the campaign realized a high reach level throughout the Kingdom and social media influencers were actively engaged in the campaign to achieve Al Arabia’s goal in raising the community awareness and disseminating the early detection culture.
