A DIGITAL REVOLUTION SPARKS FROM RIYADH

“The Guide” screens from AlArabia Outdoor Advertising, in cooperation with Riyadh Municipality.

Since 2018, AlArabia has started digitizing Out-of-Home billboards and road furnishings and contributing to building smart cities in line with the inspiring 2030 Vision.

 

With the support of Riyadh Municipality, AlArabia Outdoor Advertising Company launched the Guide smart screens to contribute to placing Riyadh on the list of smart cities on the world map by transforming roads into a network of highly connected, dynamic, and digital smart streets.

 

The Guide Screens are smart digital billboard with interconnected modules, equipped with a touch screen that takes the user to the new generation of smart technology. This global technology was provided for the first time locally in Riyadh and specifically in Tahlia Street as an initial stage, and to be distributed later to connect all parts of the city with the local population.

 

 

In conjunction with the launch of “The Guide” screens, the CEO of the AlArabia, Mr. Mohamed AlKhereiji, stated “We innovated a new stage for outdoor advertisements and road furniture that revolves around serving the public and facilitating their life, as they are the cornerstone. I extend my thanks and appreciation to Riyadh Municipality’s team for supporting the project in all its stages, as it plays an important and effective role in keeping pace with global cities and supporting projects that contribute to the digitization of Riyadh and its transformation into a smart city”.

 

With its contemporary design, The Guide screens provide smart services, city information, transportation and local community data while providing a wireless network that can be used.
