AlArabia Screens Broadcasts Riyadh Season Cup Between PSG & Saudi Stars
AlArabia broadcasted live on its digital screens the highly anticipated football match between renowned club Paris Saint-Germain and an all-star Saudi team. The match took place at King Fahd Stadium in Riyadh on January 19th, 2023.
As it brough together the starts of Al-Nasr and Al-Hilal led by Cristiano Ronaldo, and Paris Saint-Germain team led by Messi and Mbappé; which ended in the victory of PSG, and they were honored by Turki Al Shaikh chairman of the board of the general entertainment authority.

AlArabia digital screens streamed the words the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, may Allah protect him, shared on Saudi National Day on Twitter “The memory of our national day expresses pride in the glories of the homeland, and pride in its position and unity among the nations, which established the rules of this majestic structure.”

Based on the importance of the huge global event of artificial intelligence, AlArabia sponsored the second edition of the Global AI Summit entitled “Artificial Intelligence for the Good of Humanity,” the summit was organized by the Saudi Authority for Data and Artificial Intelligence from September 13th – 15th, 2022 attended by more than 10 thousand visitors from 90 different countries. Held under the patronage of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and the chairman of SDAIA’s board of directors.
The summit witnessed many “international and local” sessions, partnerships, and important agreements to develop artificial intelligence techniques that support the digital economy to attract investments. The most prominent of which was “SDAIA” agreement with the International Telecommunication Union, through which they seek to develop an international framework for measuring the readiness of artificial intelligence. Additionally, The Ministry of Health and the Saudi Authority for Data and Artificial Intelligence “SDAIA” launched the prototype of the early detection program for breast cancer using artificial intelligence algorithms.
Moreover, speakers at the Global Summit on Artificial Intelligence confirmed that the size of the artificial intelligence market is estimated at $65 billion in 2020. It is expected to reach $15 trillion by 2030 after Saudi Arabia announced joining the Global Partnership for Digital Development at the World Bank, which aims to employ artificial intelligence, enhance, and develop data capabilities, because technology nowadays has become one of the most important factors that serves humans and improve their lifestyle.

ALARABIA EXPANDS ITS ADVERTISEMENT NETWORK IN UAE AND QATAR
AlArabia the leader in out-of-home advertisement sector signed two exclusive agent agreements for advertisement services in the region. First agreement with Elan Media as it appoints AlArabia to be the exclusive representative in outdoor advertising portfolios and acquires exclusive rights to pinpoint and attract customers and businesses in the local market in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Bahrain, and Kuwait during the FIFA World Cup 2022 held in Qatar. Second agreement is with Elevision Media, a leading digital advertisement company for residential and office complexes that owns all the advertisement rights of the Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC), to be the exclusive agent to advertise at Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC) and its areas for 7 years.
CEO of AlArabia Mr. Mohamed AlKhereiji said “These agreements are a part of AlArabia’s leadership in the outdoor advertisement sector in the region with its extended expertise for more than 40 years, we are happy to collaborate with Elan Media to enrich advertising revenues during FIFA World Cup 2022 in four countries. In addition, our cooperation with Elevision Media is part of the company’s direction in expanding its digital network in the region in a way that serves our local and regional clients.”
Elan Media and Elevision Media will deliver the media and advertising platforms during a specific period and in accordance with terms of the approved media plan.
Moreover, the agreement included the possibility of AlArabia to obtain the majority stake in Elevision Media, to expand in the region and increase its advertising network, and to strengthen the company’s strategy to invest in digital screens, whereas major developments in this regard will be disclosed in due course.
